BOTOX FAQs
How long does Botox last?
Everyone's body processes products differently, but typically, you can expect results to last 3-4 months. By 3 months you will want it and by 4 months you will need it!
How long does it take to kick in?
Noticeable results should appear around 3 to 5 days. Skin starts to feel tighter; you should see less movement and wrinkling in the injected areas. It will take up to 2 weeks to see the full results. If you have static lines & wrinkles, they may begin to lessen over time and with repeated treatments.
Does Botox hurt?
While it's pretty low on the pain threshold, we’re more than happy to numb you with a topical analgesic if you like.
Can I use Botox if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
We recommend avoiding neuromodulator treatments during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
I have a big event coming up! How far in advance should I book my Botox appointment?
We recommend 6-8 weeks prior to the event, as we find that the results are the most natural at this point.
Possible side effects of Botox injections?
You may experience slight localized swelling, redness, or bruising in the treatment area which can last 24- 48 hours post-treatment. It is normal to feel “firmness” in the treatment area for the first few days; over time the area will soften. Possible headache which will subside over 48-72 hours. Possible heavy lids, also known as ptosis (and very rare), will go away over a few weeks.
