Thermage® can also be used on the body to tighten skin, improve skin laxity on areas such as the abs, thighs, knees, buttocks, and arms.
Depending on the area, treatments are generally over an hour long.

How long do Thermage® results last?
For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in the two to six months following a single treatment session and can last for 1-2 years depending on your skin condition and the aging process
How long until I see results from Thermage®?
In some individuals, initial tightening may be evident within the first few weeks. Long-term improvement generally occurs within three to six months. In clinical studies, most individuals demonstrated significant improvement of wrinkle severity with progressive improvements up to six months after a single treatment.
Possible side effects of Thermage®?
Some patients have temporary redness or minor swelling after treatment, but this usually goes away within 24 hours.
How many treatments will I need?
Unlike many other cosmetic treatments, you will start to see results from Thermage® after a single treatment. These results will also continue to improve over time.
Does Thermage® hurt?
The Thermage® system incorporates vibration on the face and body treatments, which has been shown to help aid in patient comfort. You will feel a brief heating sensation when the treatment device’s tip touches your skin, followed by a cooling sensation to help protect your skin and minimize any discomfort.
Thermage® Pre & post-treatment info
Pre-Treatment Instructions:
Remove contact lenses beforehand if having Thermage® eyes procedure.
Remove all jewelry prior to arriving for your appointment.
Take prescriptions 45 minutes to 1 hour before arriving for your appointment.
Notify your provider of any tattooed area or permanent makeup on the face prior to treatment.
Do not wear makeup to your appointment.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
Makeup can be applied immediately after Thermage®.
You may experience mild redness after your Thermage® treatment. This resolves by itself and does not require icing or medication.
Most patients return to their regular activities immediately following treatment.
