How long do CoolPeel® results last?
For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in the two to six months following a single treatment session and can last for 1-2 years depending on your skin condition and the aging process
How long until I see results from CoolPeel®?
In some individuals, initial tightening may be evident within the first few weeks. Long-term improvement generally occurs within three to six months. In clinical studies, most individuals demonstrated significant improvement of wrinkle severity with progressive improvements up to six months after a single treatment.
Possible side effects of CoolPeel®?
Depending on the depth of the treatment, skin can be slightly tender, red, and swollen for 12-48 hours post-treatment. The skin may appear darker until the treated skin peels on day seven. Skin will feel like sandpaper for seven to ten days post-treatment.
CoolPeel® Pre & post-treatment info
Pre-Treatment Instructions:
Come to your appointment with clean skin.
Do not use any topical products containing alcohol on the day of your appointment.
If you are having a more aggressive CoolPeel® treatment, you will want to give yourself one month to fully heal before any big event.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
We recommend no sun exposure for seven to ten days post-treatment.
Do not use any retinoids, tretinoins, alpha or beta hydroxy products, vitamin C products, scrub, exfoliate, or have chemical peels performed on the treated area for one week.
Some patients may have temporary welts that last a few days, in rare cases longer.
